This crystal necklace is made from a raw Aquamarine crystaline chunk, bound with upcycled leather, tight string-work and finished on an adjustable cord of your choice – plain or braided.

Stromatolite is an interesting stone that is formed near and in the ocean where over time cyanobacteria and sediment have built up and eventually become layered rock. The living bacteria was originally a sticky algae and would trap sediment and the process would repeat. Over time the calcium carbonate in the water would change the sediment to limestone, making the layers solid enough to be polished into the crystal above. They can take a long time to form too. It can take a stromatolite 100 years to grow 5 cm! Stromatolites are the simplest form of single cell life known to exist.

As for it’s metaphysical properties, these fossils hold the energies of the earliest evolution of life on this planet, because they are so ancient! They can help the owner work towards steadfast persistence and to feel stability and acceptance with the way things are. Wearing the stone can also remind one to connect to the essence of life, as well as increasing resilience and versatility in all matters.

Care instructions

Your talismans are very strong and should last years in your care. Leather is affected by water exposure over time, so short showers or using light water splashes for crystal cleansing are okay, but to extend their life, reduce swimming or soaking of any kind.
